This one was EXTRA special.

Most people know that I love what I do, but one of the greatest parts of this job is the relationships. Many of my clients become friends. In this case, I had the honor of helping a friend of 18 years.

Today, Alyssa and Chris closed on their dream home.

Like many growing families, they reached a point where their first home no longer fit their lifestyle. They needed more space, room to grow, and a home that matched this next chapter of their lives.

It was such a privilege to guide them through the process, advocate for them every step of the way, and celebrate with them at the closing table today.

Not because it’s perfect. Not because every day is easy. But because somewhere along the way, the things I used to dream about became my real life.

The chaos.

The memories filling up my camera roll.
The little moments that don’t seem big until you realize they’re actually everything.

The funniest part is I spent over an hour trying to convince my kids to come shopping with me 😂

I was hyping it up like it was some exciting outing, there’s auntie Anne’s, and Sephora, and maybe a cotton candy machine!?!! and they wanted absolutely no part of it. Lazy bones stayed home.

So I ended up going by myself… and honestly, it felt SO weird at first. I’m so used to always having my little sidekicks with me that walking through stores alone felt unnatural.

But also? It was kinda glorious. 🤣

No rushing.
No snack requests.
No tiny humans asking can we go home now?

Just me wandering around aimlessly looking at things in peace for once.

Motherhood is funny because sometimes all you want is alone time… and then when you finally get it you’re like 👁️👄👁️ “wait now what?” 😂
