5 weeks every year for life!

No it is not time share this is an Interval Ownership. In 1986 10 people went together and bought this 3 bedroom oceanfront condo in the Windemere Oceanfront Resort in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach very close to Main Street. Each owner owns 1/10th share of the condo. Each owner has use of condo for 5 weeks every year on a rotating schedule . Each year the weeks roll back by 1 week. So if one of your 5 weeks was July 8th this year it would be July 1st next year.
My seller owns 2 shares. You can buy 1 share $30,800.00 or both shares $61,600.00. The weeks run back to back which means you could have a 14 day stay 5 times a year.
This ownership can be willed to your kids or you can sell it as this owner is doing. The reason the current owners are selling is because their families have grown and they needed a 4 bedroom for all the grandkids. They are doing the same type of Interval Ownership in the new condo.
There is a monthly fee of 125.00 (1500.00 per year) that covers all utilities, taxes, hoa fees etc... if an item needs to be replaced all owners share in the cost equally.
Ie: if the water heater has to be replaced at $1000.00 each owner pays $100.00. The condo is in excellent shape and was fully updated with newer stainless appliances, granite countertops and the HVAC unit was replaced in 2018. Owners can let family or friends use the unit but renting out your weeks is not allowed. This keeps the unit in great shape. No pets are allowed and the building does not allow smoking.
