At our annual Homies Tournament, our community showed up in a way we’ll never forget. 🤍
The Tucker family has been friends and supporters of LRG, and when we heard the heartbreaking news about the loss of their daughter, Avery, we knew we needed to do something. We know there are no words and no amount of money that can change what their family is going through. We simply wanted to come together as a community and help in whatever small way we could.
Throughout the tournament, more than $1,000 was donated by people who knew the Tucker family — and by many who didn’t.
At the end of the tournament, LRG announced that we would match those donations. Tony Gomez Insurance graciously stepped up and matched them as well, along with another incredibly generous donor who asked to remain anonymous.
Together, we were able to give $4,000 directly to the Tucker family. ❤️
We didn’t do this for acknowledgment or recognition. We did it because a friend and their family are going through something unimaginable, and this is what a community does — we show up for each other.
To every single person who donated, thank you. Whether you gave $5, $20, $100, or more, please know that your generosity did not go unnoticed. Every donation mattered, and every dollar went directly to the Tucker family.
