Just in! September Market Report for Palm Beach County! 📈
🏠 Single Family Homes 🏠

The upward trend continued in September, with the year-over-year monthly supply of inventory reaching 2.9 months. The median home price also rose again, with an increase of 23.4 percent to $580,000.
With inventory rising, buyers have the opportunity to comb through more listings to find that perfect home that's just right. Even with more competing listings, sellers are still receiving a median of 95.4 percent of their original listing price. Recent adjustments to interest rates are impacting the housing market on a national level however, the market remains strong in South Florida.

We’re continuing to see inventory improvement in Palm Beach County. Listings have risen consecutively for the past three months. In July, active inventory rose by 54.6 percent to 3,854 listings, and supply of inventory increased 80 percent to 2.7 months. Despite more inventory, buyer competition remains high. Median home prices rose again (year-over-year) with an increase of 20.0 percent to $600,000.

Palm Beach County’s median sale price reached $615,000 in May! Along with the rise in median sale price, we also saw a 23.1% increase in active listings. Despite rising mortgage rates, this is still a bargain compared to interest rates from the 1970s to early 2000s when we look at historical data from Freddie Mac. Don’t fall into the trap of waiting to buy and with hopes that mortgage rates will drop.
