A student housing complex was previously envisioned in University Heights, Newark, but a project called "Summit Street Residences" is now planned.

I am thrilled to announce the approval of a very significant project in Plainfield - the TODD West Redevelopment Area. This is a four-building development, 357 dwelling units, over 30k of retail, 10k of interior amenity space and over 20k of rooftop amenity, plus two rooftop restaurants with views of the city. I want to thank the entire development team including Patrick Quinn and Italo Teixeira from our office, as well as Robert Goldsmith, John Sullivan, Betsy Dolan, Lee Titus and Joe Mustilli. The City of Plainfield also worked hard and cooperated with us to make it work. Teamwork gets the job done!
