This week we have been working to identify and report those creating fake for rent North Platte ads to scam unknowing individuals out of applications fees, deposits, lawyer fees, and rent only to leave them without any home at all. Please work with local management companies and local independent owners. Stay away from people who only do digital payments and only communicate through whatsapp and messenger. Meta is making it very difficult to remove these pages and ads, but we will continue to watch and report. Here are just a few of the pages running scam ads. These pages consist of fake listings with data taken from Realtor.com and Zillow.com. We are working to put protocols in place to prevent this, but in the meantime, please be cautious who you send your money and personal data to.
