Had an amazing time this week in San Antonio! Privledged to have the chance to be surrounded with some of the best agents and teams in the country.
I went to Mega Agent Camp expecting scripts and lead gen hacks.
Simon Sinek closed the event by telling a room full of high performers that their success might be empty. 😬
Not great for the most of our egos, but a great reminder for all of us in the room. Money is a tool, not the goal. What are we building for? How can we create deeper relationships both personally and professionally?
Here are the top 5 things I wrote down from my pages and pages I filled with notes.

1️⃣ Your WHY has to be tied to serving someone else.
Sinek talked about professionals who spend an entire career grinding toward their goals, hit every one of them, and then look around and feel nothing. They won. It just did not mean anything. If your why is a number, a car, or a title, you are building toward a finish line that will not love you back. Tie it to people. Tie it to service. That is the version that gives it all meaning and substance.
2️⃣ Anything worth building needs an audience.
Not a big audience. The right one. Who specifically do you need to reach, and are you actually speaking to them or just broadcasting into the void? I think about this constantly with my sellers. Your home does not need 100,000 views. It needs the right 10,000 max and a handful of the right buyers to see it and feel something. 🎯 My job is figuring out where those people are and going and getting them.
3️⃣ People argue with what they are told. They accept what they discover. This one rewired me. When something is hard to hear, the instinct is to push back on it. So if I sit across from a seller and tell them their price is wrong, I have just started a fight. But if I walk them through the data and let them arrive at it themselves, now it is their conclusion. Over listing a home is dangerous, the longer it sits the more leverage you are handing that buyer and equity you are losing. Stop telling. Start guiding.
guiding.
4️⃣ Fear is not the problem. Avoidance is.
Everyone has fear. There is no version of this where you get
