We are pleased to announce that Doug Mercurio was selected as a Super Lawyer for the 9th consecutive year. We live in a world (and especially an industry) where people 'buy' their awards, but we have spent a total of ZERO dollars to receive this recognition. Rather, a Super Lawyer is selected through a process based on nominations, independent research and peer review and it is limited to not more than 5% of the attorneys in the state. I am a real estate attorney that works WITH buyers, sellers AND their agents (and lenders), I don't try to replace their agents. I don't offer opinions on value to clients, that is not what I am trained to do. Each party to a transaction has a role to play, and while I, like all attorneys, from time to time have clients who didn't engage the services of a realtor, I don't perform the realtors duties, I protect the client's legal interests, as I would typically do... and frankly the deals go better with a good agent on both sides. If anybody is looking for an attorney who values what the other professionals involved in the transaction bring to the table, and who also value what we bring to the table, let's grab coffee, get on a call or otherwise (re)connect.
