Reminder of Foxboro Coventry's 1st Annual Community Garage Sales this Saturday May 15th 9am-1pm

If you haven't officially signed up to be included on the attached list/maps participation is still encouraged.

We will be putting out signs advertising garage sale goers to visit both sides of Foxboro Coventry.

We will also be sharing on the Foxboro Community of North Salt Lake, Utah page to encourage other neighbors to come check out our treasures.

If you didn't contact us in advance to add your address to our attached list & maps, feel free to comment and add your address on the shared post on Facebook & on your own pages to encourage family/friends to stop by.

If you don't want to have your own garage sale then we have attached who will be having them so you can get out to see what treasures you might find & meet some of your neighbors.

We would also like to remind you of the NSL Spring Clean up that is also happening this weekend, Fri May 14th - Sun May 16th at the NSL Public Works bldg. If you have things that are too big for your garbage cans take advantage of this opportunity without needing to go all the way to the dump. Please refer to the attached picture for acceptable items, address & times.

Happy Spring Cleaning to you all!!!

info shared from another post:
It is always a great reminder to keep up on Safety in the neighborhood. Here are some great tips that the NSLPD has provided.
Helpful Steps to Keep Your Neighborhood Safe
Join with us in making our city a safer place to live, work, and raise our families by taking the following steps around your home to eliminate crimes of opportunity:
*Get to know your neighbors. At a minimum, be familiar with and know those who live close by and watch out for each other.
*Keep outside lights on all night. Energy efficient light bulbs can be purchased at the hardware or grocery store and allow you to keep your lights on all night without a noticeable increase in cost.
*Keep garage doors and other exterior doors closed when not in use. Let you neighbors know when their garage door is left open - even in the middle of the night.
*Watch for suspicious people, cars, or activity in your neighborhood. You know your neighborhood best. If something or someone is out of place, or you see any suspicious activity, contact the police. Do not wait to determine if a crime has been committed - let the police make that determination. If it is suspicious but not an emergency, you can call Police dispatch at 801-298-6000. Always dial 9-1-1 for any emergency.
*If out of the house for an extended period of time, create the illusion that someone may still be home. Leave a television or stereo on in the room where a burglar would most likely break in. Use exterior lighting and motion detectors to minimize burglar concealment.
*Make sure all exterior doors have good locks. Install 1-inch deadbolt locks on all exterior doors.
*Ask who it is before you open the door. If you get an unexpected knock at the door, check to see who it is before opening it.
*Do not leave extra keys under doormats, potted plants, or any other obvious outdoor location. Thieves will generally find them. Find an inconspicuous place to hide keys, or give a set to a neighbor you trust.
*Fortify your patio doors. Burglar-proof your glass patio doors by setting a pipe or metal bar in the middle bottom track of the door slide. The pipe should be the same length as the track.
*Know what you own. Take and maintain an inventory of items in your home, with serial numbers.
*Don't advertise the items in your home. Keep drapes and blinds shut - especially in rooms where there is expensive equipment.
Keep a safety deposit box. Store cash, jewelry and other valuables in a safe or safety deposit box instead of leaving them lying around the home.
*Don't leave notes on the door for service people or family members. These alert burglars that you are not home.
*If you're going to be away from home for a few days have a neighbor or friend collect your newspaper. Never cancel delivery - you don't know who will get that information

We have recently had several car break-ins within our community. With your help, there are a few things we can do to try and discourage this from happening. The HOA Board has asked that each owner do the following:

Make sure your garage/ front door lights work and are on at night. The more uncomfortable we can make these folks feel with bright lights, the better. (Dusk to dawn lightbulbs are great so you don't have to remember to turn the switch on/off)

Please do not leave valuables in your car and especially valuables that are easily seen from a car window.

If you notice any suspicious activity please call the NSL Police at 801-298-6000.

We recently had video submitted of two people looking into an owners car with a flashlight. We suspect they were looking to see if there was anything worth stealing. We also recently had a window busted out of a car so thieves could access the car.

Thank you in advance for taking the above steps to do all we can to try and discourage any thieves from preying on Foxboro Coventry Towns owners and residents.

Much appreciated.

Foxboro Coventry Towns have updated our key fob system for both the gym & pool. We need to have each unit owner/renter schedule a time (so we can safely social distance) to come & get their new key fob & sign general key fob waivers.
Masks REQUIRED!!!
Owners refer to your emails for the sign-up link, renters check with your owners if they are getting the key fobs for you or if they will share the link with you to schedule an appointment.

Thanks,
Foxboro Coventry HOA Board
