(In The News): From Pittsburgh Business Times: The Pittsburgh City Paper will be joined by Techstra Solutions, a management consulting firm, and Generation Dental, which is building out a new dental care facility, on the second floor of the building, leaving 5,000 square feet on the floor still to lease along with the still available 17,000 square feet on the third floor.

The nonprofit that bought and is relaunching Pittsburgh City Paper has established a new home for it in the heart of Squirrel Hill.

(First Look: Penn Fixture and Supply): We're thrilled to share some first looks at the transformation happening at 5850 Forward Avenue in Squirrel Hill, and wow, does it look good.

One of the most exciting parts of this project? We saved the iconic A-frame. That distinctive roofline has been a landmark along the Forward Avenue corridor for decades, and we weren't about to let it go.

"Preserving the A-frame was really important to us, it's a piece of the neighborhood's character, and it deserved a second life," said Jamison Juda-Combs, Director of Marketing at Brandywine Communities. "With the new storefront glass and modernized facade, it strikes that perfect balance of honoring the past while bringing real energy to the corridor."

The new storefront glass and modern facade are already turning heads and breathing new life into this stretch of Forward Avenue. Inside, Penn Fixture and Supply is building out a fully-stocked showroom that'll be a destination for chefs, foodservice operators, and anyone who loves to cook.
