It's officially Holiday Season!
Please Please Please be careful when decorating.

1. Check the condition in the wiring and connections in your decorations before plugging them in.
2. Do not use cheap extension cords!
3. Check the rating on your extension cord. The safest extension cords have a rating from UL, ETL, or CSA and are properly matched to their intended use.
4. If you use plug in air fresheners check to make sure they are full and do NOT have them located where you can't see them. (behind furniture, curtains, storage, etc.)
5. Check to make sure all of the smoke detectors are functioning.
6. Have a fire extinguisher on hand in the home.
7. Use common sense when decorating! 😁

We hope everyone has a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season!

As I sat and waited for Punxsutawney Phil to make his annual weather prediction, and then for him to appear and predict an early spring, one question comes to mind. How could he not see his shadow with all of the TV cameras and their lights plus all of the additional pole lighting directed towards the stage? Everyone that was on the stage was casting shadows. Why not Phil?

🔌⚡️ Attention Homeowners from Sterling Home Inspections! ⚡️🔌

The charm of older homes often conceals underlying concerns, and one such issue is the k**b and tube wiring system. Not illegal, but certainly not designed to cope with today's high-energy demands. As this insulation ages, overheated wires can become a potential threat.

At Sterling Home Inspections, we offer in-depth electrical inspections that cover the full spectrum of home wiring systems, be it the dated k**b and tube wiring or more modern counterparts. Our focus is your safety, and we are dedicated to helping you understand the state of your home's electrical system.

Don't gamble with your safety.
