John and I were blessed to attend the most beautiful event yesterday, Sunday, August 2, on the beach in Wildwood. The Life Rolls On event was sponsored by the DeSatnick Foundation. There were over 700 volunteers and 125 adaptive athletes. Watching the volunteers help these excited athletes onto a surfboard and cheer them on as they would ride the waves was so inspirational, heartwarming and life-changing. Chad and Jesse spoke about their life experiences, beautiful people they have met along the way, and stories of hope, love, and happiness. Because of their love, hard work, dedication, determination and desire to help others, many many lives will be changed forever. Thank you all for organizing this special day. The smiles and tears told it all. God Bless those who take the time to help others!
