I think we’re overdue for a reintroduction… 👋🏼

Hey there! I’m Samantha Gericke (but you can call me Sam). I’m a licensed real estate Salesperson in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, based down the shore in Cape May County 🌊

But while the shore is home, my roots run throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia. I grew up in Burlington County, spent summers in Wildwood Crest, and have family scattered throughout the area, so my real estate world extends far beyond my own backyard!

Before real estate, I spent 8 years in law enforcement. Eventually, I found myself craving a change: more time at the beach, a creative outlet, and a career that would still allow me to help people.

Real estate checked all three boxes.

After a couple of years working full-time in sales and rentals with Home Sales & Rentals: Jersey Shoreline to Philly Skyline, I was given the opportunity to step into our in-house marketing department. And honestly? I couldn’t pass it up.

Today, I get to do both — work in real estate sales and rentals while helping build the marketing behind a company with serious hometown roots and a growing presence across state lines. Getting to combine my love of people, homes, creativity, and real estate has been pretty hard to beat.

And when I’m not working, you’ll probably find me exploring somewhere new (California, Portugal, Spain & London for the Eagles are on the agenda ✈️), attempting to improve my golf game, cooking something I probably didn’t need to make from scratch, tackling a house project, or soaking up every bit of life at the shore that I can.

But enough about me…I’m here for YOU!

A U G U S T 🍅

We’ve been dreading and hoping for the end of summer all at once!

We’ll miss the long summer days, the heat waves, and watching our gardens thrive. But I can’t say I’m too upset about less traffic, quiet beach days, and crisp evenings just around the corner.

August introduced me to some incredible new people, brought me through some beautiful new homes, and of course, provided plenty of ice cream along the way!

I’m excited for September to slow things down a little and for all the new doors it might open. I’m especially looking forward to traveling, football, and settling into a new season.

So here’s to closing out another summer (far too pale for someone who lives down the shore 😂), but with a whole lot of memories and experiences I’m incredibly grateful for.

Bring on the bonfires, cozy nights, and apple cider donuts. 🤎🍎

J U L Y 🇺🇸

It really hit me today waking up in a new month, that this summer is flying by. I know every year this area becomes more popular year round, but before we know it our quiet little area will say goodbye to the hustle of the season, settle into the perfect month, and then slowly start to close down one store and restaurant at a time.

So since time won’t slow down, in August I’m going to make sure I do. We’re talking more beach days, golf and gardening, more time with friends. This month will be for more “want to” and less “have to”.

One Cape May athlete. One spot at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France. And a whole community helping him get there.

A few weeks ago, Zeb Hinker finished 3rd overall in his very first 70.3 Ironman and qualified for Worlds. This has been his dream since he was a kid, and this past fall he stepped away from the Rutgers cross country and track team to chase it for real. Since winter, he's trained every single day to earn this.
Qualifying was the dream. Getting there is the hurdle. As a recent college grad, Zeb still needs to cover flights, bike transport, lodging, and training costs to make it to the start line in France. That's where Cape May comes in.
Zeb will tell you he wouldn't be here without his community, and he carries all of us into every race. For him it was never just a sport. It's a way to connect with yourself and with nature, and an escape from a world that never slows down. He's already watching new people fall in love with the sport because of him, and to him that means more than any medal.

M A Y 🌷

May was very much a recharge and recover month for me! Spent as much time outside as possible, chasing sunsets, building gardens, going for walks and soaking up all the beautiful things living at the shore has to offer! ☀️

Had the pleasure of celebrating so many instrumental people in our community! Jonn Lynch , receiving a Citizen of the Year award from , and Miss Anita for retiring after 50 years of volunteering for Story Hour at the Cape May City Library.

Another happy seller! ✅

This listing definitely had its curveballs and my sellers were ready to play! Through market lulls, bad weather, and a turning market, we were able to close and have a successful transaction for all parties involved. A P R I L 🌧️

This month has been so memorable for so many reasons. I’m finding so much happiness in the mundane and celebrating the extraordinary. It’s lead to many more days that have felt full and whole and I’m soaking up every minute!

Looking forward, May is going to be a challenging month and one full of transition and change. I’m looking forward to giving myself grace, savoring the slow pace before the chaos of summer, and hopefully catching a few rays ☀️
