Shaun McLean - Realtor Your trusted guide in the journey of buying or selling homes. Let's find your dream home together! Call me!

I've lived in the Pioneer Valley for 44 years and worked as attorney for 35 of those years,
including a real estate attorney and litigator. Given an opportunity to pivot to a career in
real estate, I jumped at the chance to work in a profession that has excited me for
decades. How often do the skills of an experienced, personable, attorney come in the
package of a REALTOR? Listening, negotiating,

legal real estate experience, and a deep
knowledge of the region are all important skills you can use when you are buying a home or selling. You can be confident with my years of honing these skills that I will work my hardest to
make sure your process is as smooth and informative as possible and I can provide access to my extensive network of services that you may need during the purchase or sale, personally seeing your transaction through to the end. Currently, I live in Northampton with my husband Tim, a former high school math
teacher and an avid bicyclist, and we have two daughters, Rose and Annie. I grew up in
Schenectady, NY (upstate NY) and came to the area to go to school at UMass/Amherst. The area was so wonderful I never left .... moving several times, from Amherst to Shutesbury, Granby, Hadley and then West Springfield before finally landing in Northampton. My husband Tim and I love to travel and I have a hidden decorating hobby, and have even become an accredited home stager. I recently tried to learn Arabic -- السلم عليكم but I am not very good at it! Because I enjoy challenges, I have accumulated years of experience helping others
navigate big life decisions, decisions like those involved when you buy and sell real
estate. Together with the backing of the outstanding reputation and wealth of knowledge Jones Group Realtors represents, I am ready to go to work for you. I can't wait to work with you and to offer you guidance navigating your next
journey. Expertise:

Built in 1704 by Preserved Clapp, son of Captain Roger Clapp, commander of Boston Harbor's Castle Island, this is one of the oldest standing homes in Northampton, Massachusetts.

This is a rare surviving example of First Period New England architecture including steeply pitched gables, massive central chimney, a fieldstone foundation, original wide pine floors, and upstairs a small concealed hiding space once used during 17th-century Native American raids.

The Clapp-Ferry family lived here for at least six generations — until 1975, when it left their hands for the first time in over two centuries. Today, it is on the market again! This one of kind piece of history boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 3.7 parklike acres, 5 fireplaces, an in-ground pool, an updated kitchen, and a private second-floor apartment for income or guests. Plus it is just a half mile from downtown Northampton!

Open house Friday May 15, 4:30–6 PM, and Saturday May 16, 11:30 AM–1 PM.
