Last Friday night we witnessed the coordinated efforts of the City of Northampton Fire Department, Police Department, Building Department, Department of Public Works and Water Department as they tirelessly fought the fire in Rogers Hall on Round Hill Road into the early hours of Saturday morning.

We wish to thank all of the firefighters, police officers and municipal employees from the City of Northampton, and all of the communities that provided mutual aid, who worked throughout the weekend to stabilize the site.

In particular, we wish to thank the City of Northampton Building Inspector Lou Hasbrouck who was on-site the entire weekend assisting with the coordination with the State Fire Marshall, Fire Department, Police Department and our architect, engineer and contractor.

Rogers Hall is truly a landmark in the City of Northampton. This week we'll be working with our contractor, engineers and architects to determine a course of action. We hope to be able to save and rebuild this magnificent building.
