I gave up alcohol and sweets for 30 days.

I didn’t have some big “why” , I just wanted to prove I didn’t need anything. I don’t drink caffeine so alcohol and sugar are my two vices.

The best part of the last 30 days was the girls catching on to me. Mom, want a bite of this cookie? Oh never mind you’re doing a challenge … they’d tell me with a wise look.

And we talked a lot about challenging our minds to do hard things, sticking to a goal, and being conscious of how we fuel our bodies.

Will this be forever now? Nope. But I proved to myself I could do it.

Sometimes it’s nice to do something quietly and move on. 💚💪

The 3% rate is great.

But you ARE allowed to break up with the house. 😂

Sometimes staying makes sense. Sometimes moving makes sense. Sometimes renovating makes sense. The rate is only one piece of the decision.
