CASA APARTMENTS is looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented Bookkeeper / Property Manager Assistant to help with office work. The main duties of this individual will include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, rent processing, data entry, bill payment, payroll processing, bank accounts reconciliation, tenant turnover file management, bank deposits.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to prioritize and multitask when necessary
• Basic computer skills, email and Microsoft Office

Bookkeeping/accounting/finance experience is preferred but not required. Apartment rentals business experience is a plus. Conversational Spanish is a big plus.

This is full-time position, but part-time option may be considered as well. Flexible schedule. Compensation is based on experience. We do not provide any benefits at this time. The work will be initially performed from our Casa Apartments Headquarters in Northbrook, IL.
