A Chance Encounter That Turned Into a New Home
Real estate has a way of showing up when you least expect it.
I was working with another client in a nearby town and, afterwards, stopped at a restaurant in the same town that I had been to before and really liked. While chatting with the waitress about what brought me to town, a couple sitting across the bar overheard that I was a Realtor.
That simple moment turned into a conversation and then a new client relationship.
They mentioned they might be looking for a home, and shortly after, we began touring properties. Along the way, we faced a few setbacks, including offers that were turned down, but we kept moving forward.
It would have been easy to walk away, but we didn’t.
We kept searching, stayed patient, and eventually found the right home for them that better fit their needs and circumstances.
In the end, it wasn’t just about a transaction. It was about helping them find the right place to call home, even after a few unexpected turns along the way.
I truly do enjoy helping people, and being part of moments like this is what makes the work so meaningful.
What started as a chance encounter turned into a new home and new friends.
