The perfect summer day in Norwalk starts (and ends) at The Galley. Name a better morning routine than gorgeous marina views, a hot breakfast sandwich, and a fresh cold brew to kick off a beach day.

The Galley is officially open for the 2026 season and I’ve been waiting for it all year. Catch breakfast and lunch from the kitchen, or hang out into the evening for lobster rolls and oysters from Copps Island Oyster Shack, a full bar, and live music line-ups all weekend long. Dog friendly too!

My vote for the best breakfast sandwich in Norwalk... The Chris-Craft: Scrambled eggs, bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, avocado smash, on an everything bagel. It’s messy and delicious.
