Lowball offers? Let’s talk about it.

Here’s the truth: a low offer isn’t “insulting”… it’s information. It tells you where the buyer thinks the value is—or how serious (or not) they are.

But here’s where people mess up 👇
Sellers take it personally… and buyers shoot too low and kill their chances.

Smart move? Don’t react—strategize.
Every offer is a starting point, not the final answer.

Because the goal isn’t to “win” the negotiation… it’s to get to the closing table.

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

Inventory in our area is still really low — there simply aren't enough homes on the market to meet the demand from buyers who are actively looking. That means sellers are in a strong position right now, and homes that are priced and marketed well are getting serious attention.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you start the conversation. A lot of people are surprised by what their home is worth in today's market, or they didn't realize how smoothly a move could come together with the right plan in place.

I know the Chenango County market has been tough. Inventory is tight, and it can feel discouraging when options are limited. But spring historically brings more movement, and new listings do come up — sometimes when you least expect it.

The buyers who are ready when the right home hits the market are the ones who win. That means having your financing in order, knowing what you want, and having someone in your corner who can move quickly.

You're not too late. The right home is still out there, and this season may be the one where things finally fall into place. 🏡
