24/7 fitness is coming to Factory 52 — with a little extra heat. 🔥

We’re excited to welcome Hotworx to the Factory 52 campus later this fall, bringing its 24-hour infrared fitness concept to Norwood.

The new 3,000-square-foot studio will feature 10 infrared sauna pods, an indoor/outdoor functional exercise zone and workouts ranging from 30-minute isometric sessions to 15-minute HIIT — all available around the clock.

From grabbing dinner and drinks to shopping, playing and now getting a workout in whenever it fits your schedule, Hotworx adds another way to make the most of your time at Factory 52!

As we prepare to unveil PLK Communities’ new corporate website, we’re continuing to introduce you to the experienced and dedicated leaders behind our company.

Meet Megan Lawhon, Chief Operating Officer at PLK Communities.

Megan joined PLK in February 2016 as Vice President of Operations and has since played an integral role in the growth of both our portfolio and our teams, advancing to Chief Operating Officer and helping shape the operational strategy behind PLK today.

With 24 years of multifamily experience, Megan brings extensive knowledge across conventional communities, LIHTC, value-add renovations and new development lease-ups in markets throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Texas and Florida.

Today, Megan oversees property operations across more than 7,500 apartment homes, townhomes and mixed-use properties, with a focus on team development, resident experience, operational performance and continuing to strengthen the people-first approach that has become such an important part of how PLK operates.

Her leadership extends well beyond PLK. Megan currently serves as vice president on the GCNKAA Board of Directors, is a past president of AAO and serves as president of OAA. She has also been recognized as a YWCA of Cincinnati Rising Star, a Cincinnati Business Courier C-Suite Awards finalist for Top Chief Operating Officer and a 2025 Women Who Mean Business honoree.

Megan is a graduate of Bethel College, where she studied Business Management with a minor in Psychology.

We took a trip through the decades and brought plenty of ideas for the future with us. ✌️🪩

Yesterday, we wrapped up our 4th Elevate Summit, a full day dedicated to learning, development, and investing in our teams.

This year’s decades theme brought a little extra personality to the day, while the sessions stayed focused on helping our teams grow. Team members led conversations covering everything from maintenance and service to social media, AI, leadership, sales, and so more!

A huge thank you to everyone who stepped up to share their knowledge and experience throughout the day, and an especially big shoutout to our Training Team for bringing another Elevate Summit to life. From the planning and coordination to creating a full day of opportunities to learn, connect, and grow, this event wouldn’t happen without them. ❤️🖤

This week, our PLK team came together for GIVE PROUD, a day dedicated to putting one of our core values, philanthropy, into action alongside St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati. 🫶

We spent the day learning more about their mission, the people they serve, and the impact their programs have across our community before heading out to volunteer at several St. Vincent de Paul locations around the greater Cincinnati area.

Today, we’re celebrating a major milestone for PLK Communities and another exciting step in our continued growth in Florida. ☀️

Savelle Nona West is officially part of the PLK family!

Set in Nona West, at the gateway to Lake Nona, Savelle brings 396 brand-new one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences to our portfolio. With this addition, PLK now has nearly 1,500 homes across Orlando and Naples and more than 7,600 homes companywide.

Savelle brings something distinctly its own to our Florida portfolio: thoughtfully designed residences, screened patios and balconies, considered amenities and a connected location near Lake Nona, Orlando International Airport and major roadways. Meet Eric MacNeil, Controller at PLK Communities.

Eric joined PLK in August 2019 and has since played an important role in leading the accounting function that supports our growing portfolio of apartment communities, townhomes, mixed-use properties and commercial real estate.

Before joining PLK, Eric served as Director of Accounting for Carespring Healthcare Management, bringing with him a strong accounting background and experience managing the financial processes that help organizations operate with accuracy and confidence.

Today, Eric helps oversee the financial reporting, accounting processes and structure that allow PLK’s teams to make informed decisions, manage growth and maintain accountability across the organization.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University and says one of the things he values most about PLK is the collaborative culture and the people who make the work meaningful.

Outside of the office, Eric enjoys golfing, cheering on the Buffalo Bills and listening to everything from K-pop to music from the ’70s and ’80s.

We’re proud to introduce Eric and grateful for the steady leadership and expertise he brings to PLK every day.
