If you've been house hunting in Maryland lately and wondering why it feels so competitive, here's the data to back up what you're feeling.

Maryland's housing market in April told a familiar story: buyers are ready, but the homes just aren't there.

Here's what the numbers say:
Inventory dropped 17.7% compared to last April
Months of supply fell from 3.1 to 2.6 months
Home showings were up 7.2% — buyers are absolutely still active
Pending sales jumped 10.6% year-over-year
What makes Maryland stand out: nationally, active inventory is actually up 4.6%. Maryland is moving in the opposite direction.

Join Abby Cobb Homes as we raise funds for Lisa’s Army, a nonprofit dedicated to providing comfort

care to individuals battling cancer. This event also marks another exciting year for Lori’s Brigade, the

Maryland chapter of Lisa’s Army, which helps bring support to those fighting cancer right here in our

home state.
