Five decisions. Every business runs on them.

Who closes the deal when you're not in the room. What your team can approve without asking you. How leads get assigned. Who stays and who goes. Where your money goes the second it comes in.

The people who scale make these five decisions ONCE. They write them down. They hand them off. Then they go build the next thing.

The people who burn out re-decide all five every single week, and call it leadership.
I haven't sold a house in three and a half years. My did $3.7 billion last year. None of that runs through me. Not the closings. Not the lead distribution. Not the daily fires. Because the five are already answered.

That's the difference between owning a business and being owned by one.

You spend 20 years of your life raising kids. Everything revolves around them, and then they have the nerves to grow up. 🤪

What is a mom supposed to do after?

Makes sense to go to Italy for 3 months, drink espresso and wine, watch people in a cute little street. Take cooking classes.

Am I right? What am I suppose to do? Next year my baby graduates too. I’m planning a trip to Italy. lol

It all makes sense now.

The next 20 years I can truly just be ME! Live life on my rythm. I’m still young, fun… Here I come!

Most agents, even the great ones, are getting destroyed at tax time because they treat their business like a W-2 paycheck.
You’re not a W-2. You’re an entrepreneur. The tax code is different for you.

It’s not hard… I’ll just meet you where you meet me.

What I mean by that… there is only one of ME and only 24 hours in a day. So I have to divide time between thousands of people, I have to give time to the ones who decided to partner with me.

Like my agents who literally packed up their businesses at an other brokerage and they joined me at eXp. So when they call I answer. And you can ask anyone, NEVER a day goes by when if I couldn’t answer when they called I didn’t call them back right away! Ask anyone
- there are hundreds of members in the and we have a LIVE chat! When they ask questions I’m all over it!
- my The Circle ⭕️ coaching clients! They each have a direct chat with me and my team. If they text or call me and my team all over it.

Of course I don’t need to mention my friends and family! They are #1.

Just these 3 groups are multiple thousands of people!! How am I suppose to fit anyone else in? 🤪

Oh and forgot to mention I removed my cell number from everything out there. As a Realtor can you imagine how long it took and how expensive that was? 🤪😱

All yard signs; websites; business cards; social profiles…

If you have my number, you and me MET somewhere in person! Or someone I trust who has my number introduced us.

You have to guard your time and honor those with your time you love and support you back. Who decide to actually be apart of your life and business.

Meet Krystal Thomas.

Twenty-two years in real estate. Fifteen of them in Key West and the Florida Keys. Over one hundred fifty million dollars in residential real estate sold. Founder of Shine Group brokered at eXp. Founder of Shoveling Sunshine, her non- profit that gives ten percent of every Shine Group commission back to the Key West community.

She is a 2025 Athena Award winner. She sits on the Florida Agent Advisory Council at eXp. She mentors with Take Stock in Children of Monroe County.
