Preparation is the key to success 🔑 and whether your goals for 2024 or beyond include buying, selling, investing or building it is a requirement to have a plan.If you don't have these things set, you shouldn't even CONSIDER buying this year:

1) Know your WHY: no matter what the market is doing, there are many reasons people move, sell, invest etc. Perhaps it’s a job change, more room, downsizing, or you’ve finally saved enough for the down payment.

2) Discover what you NEED & WANT: You need 3 bedrooms but do you really need that 4th? You want the finished basement but does that end up exceeding your budget. Keep the budget in mind as you find that balance. Be FLEXIBLE.

3) Find out if you’re FINANCIALLY ready. Whether this includes making a budget, planning to save for a down payment, getting pre-approved, or accessing your current home equity.
