Happy Closing Day to our sellers! This was a special closing as Emily Kasten helped sell her grandmother’s home.

Happy 6th Birthday to Owen Bear!

This boy is as silly and hilarious as they come. Today he hugged Charlie’s arm and said “how’s my big buff boy” while squeezing his bicep. 🤣

He loves Minecraft and legos. You give him Minecraft legos 🤯

He has played Tball, soccer and basketball this year. Basketball is his favorite and he likes to practice and shoot all the time.

He loves his sisters, Waffle our dog, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

He had a brief stint where he slept in a face mask.

He’s a tender brute that loves to wrestle his daddy but needs his mommy snuggles every night. He looks like such a big boy! He’s curious and love to read and write and create alongside his sisters.

We love you so much buddy.

Sadie bug is 8! 😍🫶🏼

This past year she tried lots of new activities like soccer, piano, and performing in a local play and did so good!

She’s thriving at school and loves hanging with her friends.

She does not subscribe to cleaning her room despite our pleas.

She loves crafts, drawing, reading, playing with Waffle, building legos, and playing outside with her brother, sister and neighbors. She loves to FaceTime family and friends. She rode on a lot of roller coasters this past year and hasn’t met one she didn’t like.

If she could own every squish mellow, she would. We have since reached our limit. 😂 She needs nightly snugs from mom and dad and we’re more than happy to oblige.

Each year she continually leans more fully into who she is: Determined, resolute, kind, hilarious and fiesty.

She keeps telling people she’s a miracle baby because she was born on Easter. We love you, Sadie Rose. Our sweet little Easter bunny baby.

The Cardinals game opener is April 4th, and I’m excited to get back to the stadium to cheer on my favorite team and to visit my favorite nacho stand! IYKYK

It’s funny how our minds associate certain things together. Nothing makes my heart go pitter patter more than when people remember me when it’s time to buy and sell their home.

2. an inlet providing shelter for ships or boats; a harbor or small port.

To me, home is everything. It’s the place where:
-dance parties in kitchen happen
-the place where you curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and read a good book
-the place where you sling your boots after a long day and turn on a familiar show
-the place where you root for you favorite football team while eating your family’s homemade chili recipe

Home is where the highest highs and the lowest lows happen. Home matters. Just like you’re selective with who you fill your home with (ie the spouse you married, the kids you had, your pets), where your home is matters. There’s an underlying feeling of familiarity and peace when pull onto your street and that feeling shouldn’t be ignored. You know you’re about to cross the threshold of your haven.

It’s one of the reasons I love helping families find their homes. I love imagining the summers in the backyard where your kids will get a slip n slide and inevitably ruin the grass (oh wait is that just us?). I love thinking through where you’re going to put your Christmas tree. And if you’ve bought a house with me you know I love gifting a door mat because a pretty front porch matters.

I chose Haven as our team name because it’s a privilege helping you find your place of refuge. I also chose it because we live in a military community that is very transient. People come and people go and the second definition of haven is that it’s an inlet providing shelter for ships and boats that are just passing through. So whether you’re a lifer and planting deep roots here or just stopping by, it’s an honor to help you find those four walls that will witness the memories that you create here.
