A little bit about the “Steve’s” of Chapa Realty. Steve Chapa Sr. (right) has been in the real estate business for over 25 years. He has always been into the investment side of things, working with investors and doing his own investment properties as well, and is still doing so to this day. He is the broker of Chapa Realty, and mainly oversees the operation of the company and feeds it with an influx of retail clients and investors. Now he owns a wholesale company as well, where he acquires properties at a fraction of the cost and makes them available to some of the biggest investors in St Louis.
Once investors complete the rehab of the home, it is then listed with Chapa Realty. This is where Steve Chapa Jr. comes in. While also working the retail side of the company, he works with investors to market the home for a quick sale and handles all of the photography and videography for every listings that comes through.
Steve Jr. has been in the business for over 15 years, starting back when he was still in high school, working for the mortgage company that Steve Sr. previously owned, eventually becoming a processor and loan originator; then obtaining his real estate license at 18. He’s been a full time Realtor ever since.
Chapa Realty employs a small but very effective team of over 10 agents. Unlike some brokerages that are more corporate and competitive, Chapa Realty is all about helping each other succeed, which at the end of the day helps the whole team better serve their clients.
