Ann and I partnered on several deals. I am lucky to have benefited from her friendship and mentorship.

Today, we officially said goodbye to a legend in our office and a giant in our hearts: Ann.

If you knew Ann, you knew she didn’t do "mediocre." She was a woman of deep faith, great love, and just enough spice to keep things interesting. At 79 years old, she earned her Managing Broker’s license, not because she had to, but because she never stopped learning, never stopped growing, and never stopped showing up.

She was thorough. She was fun. And she had standards.

We heard stories from clients who became friends for life. From young people she mentored—teaching them to be on time, to present themselves well, and to listen for the stories hidden inside classical music on long drives to ballet class.

Ann loved real things.
Real time, real people, real conversations, and yes, real bacon.

Her love for Jesus was the heartbeat of everything she did. She saw beauty everywhere, the thumbprint of the Creator in the world around her and in the excellence of a job well done.

Her lesson to us? Be thorough. Keep learning. Play the board game. Listen to the music. And for heaven’s sake, have some standards and eat real bacon!

We’ll miss her wit and her wisdom, but we’re so much better for having been in her car, at her table, and on her team. Rest well, Ann. We know the bacon in Heaven is top-tier. 🥓✨🤍
