If your property was your primary residence as of January 1st of the tax year. You qualify for a home exemption

Homeowners have until April 21st to apply online.
Senior Citizen Exemption
If the property was your primary residence as of January 1St and you the owner was at least 65 years old of the tax year (as of 1/1/2024).
Senior Freeze Exemption
If the primary residence as of January 15th and the owner was at least 65 years old of the tax year with a household income was less than $65,000.
Longtime Homeowner Exemption
If an owner has lived in the property as a primary residence for all of last year, and your household income was less than $100,000 last year and your assessments went up high enough.
Home Improvement Exemption
If major, qualifying improvements were made to the property last year (and proper permits were pulled & inspections completed.
Returning Veterans Exemption
If an owner is a veteran who returned home from active duty in armed conflict area.
Disabled Veterans Homeowner Exemption
If an owner is a veteran with a service-connected disability.
Disabled Persons Homeowner Exemption
If a disabled owner lived in the property as a primary residence and was responsible to pay the tax bill.
