Kuiper’s Family Farm alone is worth the drive, and it’s not even the one I’d send you to first.

Every fall I get the same question from people moving to Chicago’s suburbs.
Once the weather turns, what is actually worth doing out here.
Start with Kuiper’s Family Farm in Maple Park. Go early, get the apple picking bundle, and give yourself a full hour because you are going to want it.
Then head to Sonny Acres Farm in West Chicago. It sits about 10 minutes from Kline Creek Farm, so you can turn it into a whole morning without driving all over DuPage County.
The other three are worth your Saturday too, especially if you are new to Chicago Illinois and still figuring out which direction to head on a weekend: Goebbert’s Farm and Garden Center in South Barrington, Abbey Farms in Aurora, and Keller’s Farmstand in Oswego.
