School is starting SOON!! I don't know about all of you but, for me, this summer seems to have flown by faster than the speed of light!! I can't believe it's already over!!

If you are like me, you still have a TON to do in order to get ready for school! Check one more thing off your list by giving us a call TODAY and ensure that your HVAC unit will continue working the way you need it to, all year!!

Regular service "check-ups" on your HVAC unit are IMPERATIVE! Keep in mind that you use your air and heat almost every day which puts much more "wear and tear" on your unit than you realize! As with all major purchases...you should have it inspected at least TWICE A YEAR to make sure that it works when you need it to!

Think of your HVAC unit the same way as getting an oil change on your vehicle! Without it, your car will probably continue to run (for a while), but it won't run as well as it should Through time it WILL do quite a bit of damage causing you to have to replace your unit years before you should have to! Make sure that your unit continues to work like a "well oiled machine" as long as possible by keeping up with maintenance on a regular basis!

By spending just a little money TODAY...you will save yourself thousands of dollars in the FUTURE!!!

Also, don't forget that you MUST change your air filter at least once every three months! If you have pets it will need to be changed even more frequently! If you do NOT change your air filter than your unit will not heat/cool the way it should!! It's an important thing to remember!!

Keep your air-conditioner unit serviced and you will not just cut costs on your home energy use, but you will additionally lengthen its life-span, spending less on expensive early replacement. Replace your air filters and your A/C will run more efficient. On older systems don't use a high FPR/Merv rating. It can cause a restriction of airflow. Most systems over 10 years old likely have a dirty coil and added stress from a high rated filter can cause ice to form on the evaporator coil. FPR/Merv rating should stay around four or five if it's around 10 years old. Newer systems are more resilient to problems caused by an air filter. I wouldn't use anything above FPR/Merv 8 or 9 on any system.

I recommend having your systems checked out before summer gets here. I recently found one that was low on freon and their electric bill was over $600 for three months. New systems can save you up to 40-50% on your electric bill. Call or text for free estimates on replacing your old heating and cooling systems.
