Another happy buyer officially CLOSED!

Last summer, I helped her sell her home. After renting for a bit and taking time to figure out her next move, she decided she was ready to jump back into homeownership again and I’m so proud of her for making it happen.

As a single mom, finding the right home in the right price range definitely came with challenges. We looked at quite a few homes before finally finding the perfect fit, a cute East Side home with a HUGE bonus… a 3-car garage! This was especially fitting because she’s a mechanic and needed the extra space.

The home was older, solid and at the top end of the budget, so we had to be strategic. Her lender (Matt Minder) and I worked together to explore financing options and in the end, using FHA financing instead of conventional allowed her to put less money down and qualify for a little more to make this home possible.

This transaction wasn’t a cakewalk. We navigated inspections (shout out to my home inspectors at X2 Home Solutions), appraisal-required repairs, negotiations and a lot of moving pieces along the way. But this is exactly why having the right people on your side matters. The listing agent was wonderful to work with, everyone stayed focused on finding solutions, and together we got her to the closing table.

I’m incredibly proud of her for continuing to build generational wealth for herself and her family.

If you think buying a home isn’t possible for you right now, don’t count yourself out. There are more options than people realize and with the right plan and the right team, homeownership may be closer than you think.
