Twenty-five years.
We remember the lives taken far too soon.
We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when every instinct told others to run away.
We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who survived, and those whose lives were forever
changed by what they witnessed and endured.
And we honor every member of our law enforcement, fire, EMS and emergency response communities who
has carried that legacy of service forward in the years since.
September 11, 2001 changed our country forever.
Twenty-five years later, we still remember their names, their courage and their sacrifice.
We will never forget.
