I’ve been in the real estate game for a while now, and lately, I’ve noticed that it’s not the usual suspects like financing or inspections that are killing deals - it’s actually the little things like incomplete paperwork or poor communication.

As an agent, it’s my job to stay on top of these details, to advocate for clear communication with everyone involved, to foresee things that might be a problem… and to fight for your best interest (it’s my fiduciary duty) when something comes up that is unplanned.

First-time buyers have a special place in my heart.

This adorable family of four came to me asking if they were ready to buy. I sent them to Savannah Sprague to talk loans and run numbers. Turns out? They were MORE than ready. We were both blown away.
‌
With financing squared away, we started looking. I gave them the reality check: their price range meant competition. They’d probably get their hearts broken a couple times before we found the right fit.
‌
We saw everything available. Nothing worked. They were getting desperate and found one they were trying to convince themselves to love. I told them - don’t force it. You’ll end up resenting a house that doesn’t actually fit your life. The right one will come, and you’ll know. I don’t care if we look at 50 houses.
‌
A few days later? There it was. Cute house, great bones, perfect neighborhood. Love at first sight.
