The stormy weather earlier this fall brought record rainfall to the Bay Area, so I want to make sure your house is ready for winter. As we make our way to the end of 2021, there has been a slight shift in the Bay Area real estate market. Sellers are still in control, but their competition is increasing ever so slightly. Inventory is expected to continue to rise, which could lead to a flattening of home prices. It’s tough to time the market, but sellers still have an incredible opportunity in today’s market by locking in a low interest rate and selling quickly.
