It was a great opportunity to connect with local businesses, organizations and community members from across central Maine. We can’t wait to continue growing the connections we made at this event. Thank you, Mid-Maine Chamber!

We are fortunate to have colleges in our community that are dedicated to preparing students for their careers. They are valuable partners for businesses looking to bring on interns.

At Colby College, DavisConnects invites businesses to get involved by hiring interns, mentoring students, sharing career insights or even serving on advisory groups, creating multiple entry points for employers to build relationships with emerging talent.

At Thomas College, the internship process is designed to be simple and employer-friendly. Businesses can submit a job description, connect with career services and interview candidates directly, while the college helps promote the opportunity and guide students through the process.

For businesses in central Maine, this means access to a steady pipeline of motivated, career-ready students along with support from the colleges to make hiring interns straightforward.

There is incredible talent right here in our community and great opportunities to connect with it.
