Our courtyard can shape the tone of an entire morning. At STAK Space, the transition into the workspace begins in our beautifully curated pocket park, an open-air plaza designed to offer a moment of serenity before you lock in for the day.

The plaza functions as a museum-quality open gallery right at our front doors. The monumental bronze sculptures by Woody De Othello, titled “Change, Stones, and Hope” and presented in partnership with Jessica Silverman Gallery and Artsource Inc, greet members and residents. They evoke a strong sense of optimism and harmony, grounding the architecture of 1900 Broadway with an inspiring public presence.

What people actually want is simpler: a chance to unwind and connect without the rigid scheduling, crowded bars, or rushing to close out a tab.

At 1900 Broadway in Uptown Oakland, we built the 4th floor Podium Lounge to match that exact shift. Featuring a self-serve digital taproom, it connects seamlessly to our 10,000 square foot outdoor deck, making it easy for residents & members to grab a local drink on their own schedule. And for bigger celebrations with friends and neighbors, the space extends up to the 39th floor Sky Lounge with views across the entire Bay Area.

We did not want to just check an amenity box. This space was designed to feel like an extension of your living room, making it easy to relax, socialize, or just catch the sunset at the end of the day.

Our recent collaboration with Yelp brought together hundreds of local tastemakers, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to activate our space and celebrate the unique economic and cultural fabric of . Transforming the property into a vibrant hub for the region's best culinary and creative talent highlights exactly what makes this asset so special.

We are incredibly proud that the evening also served a greater purpose, driving meaningful awareness and raising vital funding for pediatric clinical care and research at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals Foundation. ❤️
