Your property tax bill isn’t set in stone, it’s set by an algorithm that guesses your home’s value off market data, and nobody checks its work but you.

Don’t ever give up!

I’ve closed over 300 transactions in the East Bay. About half were buyers. And every single one of them shares this one thing in common. They never gave up.

Here’s what people don’t see when they’re scrolling listings from the sidelines. The buyer who finally got their house usually lost two or three others first. Got outbid. Had an offer rejected. Watched a place they loved go to someone else.

That’s not bad luck. That’s just what buying in the East Bay looks like right now.

We are very excited about this modern bungalow in Allendale - completely rebuilt in 2015. She has all new systems, no k**b and tube, and even has radiant heat!

To top it all off its converted garage has a half bath and room for a shop, home office, or zoom room.

Take me back ten years because it wasn’t always this way!

First and foremost everyone’s housing adventure is going to be different. And the sand box you decide to play in will have its share of challenges. Regardless of price point. Some areas just don’t have a ton of inventory, like Albany. With only 51 sales year to date it continues to be one of the hardest places to land a property.

Definitely check these areas out if you are glutton for punishment. It will take mental fortitude and probably maybe a lot of cash and you’ll definitely need to keep your contingencies in storage.
