Orlando Pimentel and Elena Abend are both from Caracas, Venezuela and are well-known chamber musicians in Venezuela and the U.S. Ms. Abend performs with the Fine Arts Quartet, the Ravinia and Marlboro Music Festivals. Mr. Pimentel began in Venezuela’s music program “El Sistema” and performed regularly with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra before moving to the United States.
