Congratulations to Melanie Bell for being the FIRST artist selected to display her work in our listing office! DECCA Real Estate has partnered with the Art Club of Oak Run to showcase the artistry of our many talented residents.
Melanie came to Oak Run 11 years ago as a snowbird but became a full-time resident about 1 year ago. She has studied art in many places that range from New York all the way to Paris and Rome (with many places in between!). In Connecticut, she owned her own studio and was an exhibitor/member of the National Arts Club in NYC.
Melanie is brightening up our office with two of her pieces, Sanctuary and After the Storm. They are both for sale and on display at our listing office (right beside Bella Cucina). Hello Ocala peeps! If you're looking for something to do, Fort King Fort on the S.E. side of Ocala is a great place to visit and learn about our local history. It's always an adventure to explore where you live!

The Festival at Fort King is bringing Ocala back to the 1800s this weekend. The event will offer cast iron cooking, axe throwing, a kids’ area, home brewed beer, craft vendors, and more.

TODAY'S THE DAY!!!!! Tune in at 4:00 for Chef Greg's Shrimp ala Vodka! I got to do a little pre-screening taste testing and it is AMAZING! One adjustment...he's making a "healthy" 1 serving size. It's not too late to get your ingredients and cook along!

Join us of Friday for a quick and fun cooking lesson with one of our talented chefs! The recipe is Shrimp ala Vodka and the ingredients you will need are:
raw shrimp, fresh basil, 1/2 and 1/2, butter, marinara sauce, onion, bacon (cooked), crushed red pepper, penne pasta (cooked), and, of course, Vodka. This recipe will serve 2. Hope you will join us!
