I started my career in the service industry at the onset of my teenage years, helping my parents manage El Ancon, a historic transportation business in Loiza, Puerto Rico. During my college years l worked as a manger at Applebee’s, Fuddruckers and Houlihan’s restaurants. After college I continued my journey into the restaurant/hospitality industry, gaining experience at the Hard Rock Cafe both in

Puerto Rico and in Louisiana, and at Double Tree by Hilton in Puerto Rico. As a natural progression of the service oriented culture to which i had been exposed, I then acquired and operated a franchise, Wings ‘n Things, in Puerto Rico. By 2007, I had managed to open seven of these restaurants.
“In 2014, my wife and children and I relocated to Florida and made Ocala our new hometown. My last experience in the restaurant business was at Mark’s Prime Steak House, a fine dining establishment.
