The 1st microchip scanning station for lost pets is now live at Marion Oaks Dog Park, 280 Marion Oaks Trail, Ocala, FL 34473
This is the first station in Marion County - and we need you to help us make it a success! Our goal is to make it easier for neighbors to reunite lost pets with their owners - quickly, safely, and with community involvement.

🐾 How It Works
• It’s a self-service station with simple, step-by-step instructions to guide you through scanning a found pet’s microchip and identifying the owner.
• If your pet isn’t microchipped, we can help! Microchipping is ONLY $10 at our shelter - no appointment necessary.
• This is our pilot location, and we plan to expand to more areas throughout Marion County.

If the Marion Oaks Dog Park is too far for you, remember that most veterinarians, animal shelters, and rescue agencies also have microchip scanners and are happy to help check for a chip.

💛 Why This Matters
Every time a pet goes missing, a microchip scan is the fastest route home. With your help, we can reunite families and pets more quickly.
