One of the harder — but most important — parts of my job is having honest conversations, even when it could cost me the listing. ‼️

Story time! 💃🏼 Recently, I met with sellers whose expectations for value were higher than what the current market data could support. After reviewing the comparable sales and discussing strategy, we ultimately decided not to move forward together — and that’s okay.

I believe pricing a home correctly from the start matters. My job is not just to tell clients what they want to hear, but to guide them with honesty, experience, and market knowledge. There are often creative ways to help sellers reach their goals and maximize their net, but when the gap between expectations and market reality is too large, listing the home simply isn’t in anyone’s best interest. 💁🏼‍♀️

Setting clear expectations and protecting my clients’ outcomes will always be more important to me than simply getting a listing. 🥂
