Project Update – Key West Villas

We’re pleased to share that the steel project is moving right along. Our welding team has been on-site all week making solid progress, and we are getting closer to the finish line.

We understand this has been a large and involved project, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and continued support throughout the process.

With the progress made this week, we are hopeful we are approaching the final stages and will keep you updated as we near completion.

Thank you again for your cooperation and understanding.

On behalf of the Key West Villas Board, we would like to sincerely thank all of our owners for the many kind words, encouragement, and support expressed over the past few days following the homeowners meeting.

Whether we spoke in the parking lot, by the elevator, or walking through the building, the overwhelming response of appreciation has meant a great deal to us. We take our responsibilities seriously and remain committed to serving the best interests of our community.

What is often thought of as a thankless role has proven to be quite the opposite, and we are truly grateful for the trust and support shown by so many of you.

Thank you for being such a supportive and engaged community.

A peaceful morning at Key West Villas — grateful for the quick response and thankful everything is safe.”
This morning, the fire alarm at Key West Villas was activated and operated exactly as designed to ensure everyone’s safety. The fire department responded promptly, and we have since identified the cause.

There was no fire — the alarm was triggered by water intrusion related to the recent storm. The issue is being addressed and will be repaired as quickly as possible.

Thank you to our residents and guests for your patience and cooperation. Safety remains our top priority, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding.

We’re excited to share a recent upgrade at Key West Villas — thanks to a grant from the power company, we’ve installed new energy-efficient lighting throughout the building and parking areas.

The improvements enhance visibility, safety, and efficiency for everyone — and we think it looks pretty great too.

We appreciate the support that helped make this possible and look forward to continuing to invest in our property for our owners and guests.

Evening all Hope all is well
At our meeting, we will review our routine water and heat checks, along with instructions on how to shut off the water to your condo and when it is recommended to do so.

These procedures are in place to help minimize the risk of water damage, especially during cold weather or extended absences. Preventing water-related incidents helps protect individual units, shared property, and keeps insurance claims and premiums as low as possible for everyone.

This is a proactive approach that benefits the entire community, and we appreciate your cooperation.

We look forward to reviewing this with you at the meeting.
Thank you for your support and cooperation
Ty. Rob.

Winter Storm Warning – Key West Villas (Ocean City, MD)

Hi everyone—there is a Winter Storm Warning in effect. To help keep everyone safe and allow plows to clear the property efficiently:

Friday through Tuesday: Please park in the parking lot under the building if possible, and keep driveways/travel lanes clear so plow trucks can get through.

Bob S and I have been working with John Jensen, and we have a plow and shovel plan in place. This is the first time the lot has needed to be plowed, so thank you for your patience. We’ll also be shoveling to keep stairwells and main walkways clear as conditions allow.

Since we’re not on-site, if you notice any snow/ice/safety issue, please contact us and we’ll address it ASAP:
Rob: 201-637-0187
Bob S: 443-474-4509

Please keep heaters ON to help prevent frozen/burst pipes.

Your safety is our priority—stay warm and safe, and thank you for your continued support.
Thank you
Rob & Bob

Please like and share help spread the word. Ty
