If no one checked your Shore house, watch this.

Cold snap’s over — this is when problems show up.

Winterizing isn’t just shutting things down.
It has to be done correctly.

What I usually see?
Outdoor showers or hoses get missed.
The main isn’t fully shut off.
Or it’s done by someone without real experience.

In this case, the main wasn’t fully off.
The pipes froze, expanded, and popped at a fitting —
luckily after the shutoff valve, so I was able to stop it.
