A reminder for everyone who travels in and out of Ocean City: in 15 days, the Harry W. Kelley Memorial Bridge (US 50) will be closed and traffic detoured to allow for rehabilitation work.

Plan ahead now, expect delays, and give yourself extra travel time once the detour begins on JANUARY 20, 2026.

I have received numerous calls about the high energy bills these past few months. This is Delmarva Powers way of helping.

Delmarva Power has announced:

—There will be no late payment fees for January, February and March 2025.
—They have instituted longer repayment periods.
—They are suspending physical disconnections for nonpayment through March 2025.
—They are waiving deposits for disconnected customers seeking to restore service.

Also, at delmarva.com/BillSupport, Delmarva Power customers are encouraged to explore resources at that can help lower monthly bills such as energy efficiency programs, financial assistance options, and billing and payment flexibility tools.

We are now a donation drop-off point for efforts to assist recovery in North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene!
This will be a quick turn-around in an effort to bring aid to our neighbors in North Carolina as quickly as possible.
Please bring all local donations to our security office for storage until Friday morning when the trucks will be here.
We have assembled a short list of high-priority items, but all donations are welcome!

The latest updates!

Ocean City Beach Patrol, Public Works and Emergency Services have been actively monitoring the waste washing onshore. As of this morning, the waste and medical debris on the beach is considerably less than yesterday. Out of an abundance of caution, the ocean will remain closed to swimming and surfing at this time. We appreciate the public’s cooperation and will continue to provide updates as they become available.
