I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and have lived here my entire life. My family were farmers, owning a significant amount of the land on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. Our family also owned several large tracts of land and lodges on Assateague Island, where I enjoyed spending time as a child. I spent most of my weekends with my Grandfather learning about land, soil types, drainage, topography and the best uses of the land. I was fortunate enough to be enriched with a background of information from life experiences on Farms, Cropland, Woodland, Recreational Land and Commercial properties and have realized each piece of Land has its own unique characteristics and valuation. Experience matters most when you decide to work with a Land Specialist as you need to have a strong knowledge and understanding of land, its uses, zoning, permitting, farming, acquisitions, easements, conservation pratices and development. I've lived it my entire life and it is who I am. My mother and father were both Real Estate Agents and investors. I took up real estate a few years after graduating from Salisbury University Perdue Business School with a degree in International Marketing and Finance. I married my high school sweetheart, and have enjoyed being a parent for the past 21 years. I enjoy fishing, hunting, horses, traveling, spending time with my wonderful family, and all that the great outdoors has to offer. I have traveled to almost every corner of the world, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else but here. I currently own and manage several 1000 acres of land and provide my clients with ongoing knowledge, insight and reliable contacts before and after their purchase. I have been selling Land and Farms on the Eastern Shore for 24+ years with over 50,000 acres sold, 1300 transactions negotiated, totally over $550 Million in Sales. Most of my colleagues, appraisers and clients refer to me as the “Land Man.”
