If you're not going to the beach this weekend, let's head to Wilmington for some amazing events because this lineup is absolutely packed! 🌟🎶🎨
Start things off on Friday, June 19th at Airlie Gardens for their Summer Concert Series (6–8pm), where Jack Jack 180 brings a high-energy blend of party, pop, and rock covers to one of the most beautiful outdoor settings around — pack a picnic, grab your chairs or blankets, and enjoy dining and dancing surrounded by Airlie's majestic gardens!
That same evening, Waterline Brewing Company hosts the second annual Songs of Peace event (6–9pm), a free celebration presented by the Wilmington Peace Festival and Encore Magazine landing on Juneteenth this year — expect a powerful lineup of music, poetry, speakers, vendors, and interactive activities all centered around community, peace, and celebration.
Saturday, June 20th brings even more to explore — head to the Cameron Art Museum for Summer at CAM Community Day (10am–5pm), a free event where you can explore exhibitions like Fresh Air: Inflatable Sculptures, Andy Warhol: Silver Clouds, and Rooted in Memory: The Gullah Geechee Vision of Jonathan Green, plus hands-on activities including inflatable sculpture building, community weaving, and indigo dyeing.
Then wrap up your Saturday at Jimmy's Inland for the Tourist Trap Market (1–6pm) featuring unique vendors, live music by Jared Michael Cline, a food truck from Revival Surf City, a summer sipper drink special with a collectible tiki cup, and an interactive tie-dye bar where the first 20 shoppers score a free bandana to customize!
