Love coming across these sea turtle nests on the beach! The volunteers do such a good job of inspecting and logging each nest, and protecting them from predators. These two nests will be due to boil sometime in mid to late August. I would love to be here to witness those babies head to the ocean!

Loving this space! Time to get nit-picky about things… some of which will probably have to wait until next year! I mean, really I’m grateful the whole front door and window area doesn’t leak anymore, and we don’t have carpet on the stairs, which were dirty and kind of smelly and we don’t have a moldy washing machine (which I hope is not temporary, lol)

I found a spot for half of the sail I painted for the other unit. The other half says 109 on it and the whole thing together is too big for this area. I can’t decide if it looks weird there, like it’s the wrong shape, and maybe I should make a new one. 🤷‍♀️ I’ll set with it a while. 😊 It looks like I could lower it some, what do you think?
