✨ The Infamous Barrow Gang Visit
In 1935, the town had a run-in with the notorious Barrow Gang (the associates of Bonnie and Clyde). They actually robbed the local bank in Prentiss.

✨ Prentiss is the northern gateway to the Longleaf Trace, which was Mississippi's very first "Rails-to-Trails" project. It’s a 44-mile paved trail that follows an old railroad line all the way down to Hattiesburg.
