WHO ARE YOUR PEOPLE?👩🏻⚕️👮🏾♂️🏋️♀️👫💇🏼♀️
This question came to mind this morning as I was thinking about the people in my life that I trust both on a professional and a personal level. We all have those people who are in our corner when we need them the most, and who have our best interest at heart in the good and bad times.
I think Ai articulates this perfectly when it comes to the professionals in our lives who are there to help. These individuals should be trustworthy and accessible. They should advise and protect you. When these professionals exhibit those characteristics there is an instant mutual loyalty that takes place and most of the time create a very strong bond. You are not only grateful that you were connected with that professional, but you want to share that professional with others that you care about because you know that they will be in good hands.
So think about all of the individuals who are in your corner and who you consider “your people.” Your people know you and know your goals and needs.
Think about your doctor or dentist. Think about your financial advisor and accountant and attorney. Think about your pastor, professor, teacher, therapist, life coach, boss or personal trainer. Think about your mechanic or your hairstylist or your lawn care professional or child-care giver. Think about your Realtor or appraiser or mortgage professional or contractor or roofer or HVAC technician. Who do you confide in? Who do you trust that is going to give you the answers and support that you need to help you reach your goals?
Whatever that need may be.
Ask yourself “Who are your people?”
